By default Nginx stores its error logs in the /var/log/nginx/error.log file
and access logs in the /var/log/nginx/access.log.
To change the location of the log files, configure the following directives in the Nginx config:
http {
...
error_log /var/log/nginx/error.log crit;
...
server {
...
access_log /var/log/nginx/access.log custom;
...
}
}
